Global Mobility in the Nordics
Welcome to a seminar where we discuss cross-border work. We will cover the tax and social security regulations of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark and what to consider when managing employees working across the nordic borders.
The course will cover both national and international regulations regarding tax and social security. Participants will gain insights into the rules affecting employees who commute between the Nordic countries, are sent to work in a country other than their home country, and remote work. These different situations require knowledge of various regulations, and we will review both the rules and provide examples of practical cases and issues that may arise.
As a participant, you will gain knowledge about:
- Tax considerations an employer should make when employees are sent to work in another Nordic country or commute between countries.
- Insights into the rules regarding social security and the employer’s obligations.
- A review of both national and international regulations.
Key Learning Points:
- The national tax systems of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.
- International regulations governing the tax situation for employees and social security agreements
- Practical examples of working across the borders of Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark
